US President Joe Biden visited Israel on Wed to show solidarity. In addition to receiving vocal support, Israel has been the largest cumulative recipient of US foreign assistance since World War II. As of March 1, 2023, the US has provided Israel with over $158 billion in bilateral assistance and missile defense funding, according to a Congressional Research Service report.
